Maryellne Gets Her Wings
Maryellen walked to Heavens Gate middle school in New York City every day with her grandma Breeza and Stretch her St. Bernard.
Maryellen, was starting the 7th grade and looked forward to that walk every day because grandma would tell her stories about the spiritual powers of dogs.
You see, grandma Breeza knew that one day Maryellen would have a special job helping people around the world. In fact, grandma was already talking to the angels in heaven because they needed her to lead an important assignment from heaven.
Momma Breeza was a very kind person and helped Maryellen adopt Stretch, from a local rescue. See Momma Breeza told Maryellen that dogs are a gift from heaven and if you listen to their heart and mind they speak to you and together you can change the world.
While Maryellen never quite understood that message, she loved Stretch and she loved her grandma. The 3 of them would soon work together to change the world.
On a very ordinary day, Momma Breeza fell ill and was swept up to heaven by the angels. Momma knew she was going up to heaven soon to work with the angels in heaven and she did the best she could to prepare Maryellen for that day. Maryellen accepted the sad news but did not fully understand how her life would change forever.
Grandmas job in heaven was to lead an organization of dog angels on earth so people would become nicer and friendlier to one another. Momma Breeza could see the world needed ….
