Acceptance of Terms
The web pages available on DOGTHORITY.COM constitute the “Site.” The Site is owned and operated by DOGTHORITY.COM (“DOGTHORITY.COM”) and is governed in accordance with the Terms of Use described below (“Terms”).
Users of the Site are expected to read and comply with these Terms before becoming a Registered User or subscribing to the Site as a Service Provider.
By accessing the Site, viewing any content on the Site, or consuming any services offered by Service Providers listed on the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of DOGTHORITY.COM govern your relationship with DOGTHORITY.COM in relation to the Site.
All users of the Site are expected to conduct every communication and business transaction with integrity and in a professional manner.
You may only use DOGTHORITY.COM after reading the Terms herein. These Terms govern the use of DOGTHORITY.COM. By using the Site, you agree to abide by these Terms. If you do not agree to abide by these Terms, you are not authorized to use the Site.
Definition of Terms
Users
An all-encompassing term for anyone who accesses the Site. Registered Users, Consumers, Service Providers, and Subscribers are all considered Users of the Site.
Registered Users
Registered Users agree to have their name officially registered on the Site. Registered Users can converse with Service Providers and book services from Service Providers listed on the Site.
Consumers
Consumers are Users and/or Registered Users. Consumers access the Site and consume services from Service Providers.
Service Providers
Service Providers are Registered Users who also subscribe to the Site. Service Providers receive Subscription Services to access the business application tools of DOGTHORITY.COM. These tools allow the Service Provider to present their business listing and business profile page to Consumers.
Subscribers
Subscribers and Service Providers are interchangeable terms. Users who subscribe to the Site are also referred to as Service Providers. These are Users who present their services to Consumers.
Subscription Services
Subscription Services are the services that Service Providers subscribe to from DOGTHORITY.COM.
Provider Services
Services that a Service Provider offers to Consumers who visit the Site.
Consumer & Service Provider Engagement, Liability and Safety
Consumers who are exploring and seeking services from listed Service Providers act of their own free will and understand that all communications, agreements, conditions of service, payment, and security concerns are between the Consumer and Service Provider.
DOGTHORITY.COM has no obligation or role in how a Service Provider and Consumer engage and ultimately conduct business. To this extent, DOGTHORITY.COM provides a platform for Consumers to meet Service Providers.
As such, Consumers and Service Providers are expected to work in good faith and take all reasonable precautions to engage in a productive and safe business relationship.
For clarity, the code of conduct and vetting process is no different from any vetting process between a buyer and seller of services.
Registration & Subscription Services
As a condition of becoming a Registered User on DOGTHORITY.COM, you are required to present information to DOGTHORITY.COM in the form of a unique password and username and to provide other information. All such information constitutes your User “information.”
The User information you provide must be accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms of Use and may result in suspension and/or termination of your DOGTHORITY.COM registration.
Registered Users on DOGTHORITY.COM are not permitted to use as a username the name of another person or entity that is not lawfully available for use, a name or trademark subject to the rights of another person or entity without appropriate authorization, or a name that is otherwise inappropriate and/or offensive.
At no time should a Registered User reveal their User information to anyone else. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their information and for all activities that take place when using the Site.
Users agree to immediately notify DOGTHORITY.COM of any security breach involving their User information. DOGTHORITY.COM shall not be responsible for losses arising from unauthorized use of a registration.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their passwords and are solely responsible for all activities resulting from use of their passwords and conducted through DOGTHORITY.COM.
DOGTHORITY.COM subscriptions are available to business entities and freelance service providers who are at least 18 years old.
The term “Service Provider” as used herein shall at all times include the individual or legal entity subscribed to DOGTHORITY.COM and receiving Subscription Services hereunder, including but not limited to any and all persons and/or legal entities with which it is affiliated and/or associated, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, independent and dependent contractors, licensees, successors, and assigns.
Service Provider Subscriptions
The Site is an internet-based listing service that provides Service Providers with the ability to present dog-related services to Consumers.
The services provided by DOGTHORITY.COM to Service Providers are defined as “Subscription Services.”
“Provider Services” are the services that Service Providers offer to Consumers who visit the Site.
The business arrangement for the delivery of Provider Services between a Service Provider and Consumer is strictly managed between the Service Provider and Consumer, without involvement or liability to DOGTHORITY.COM.
Payment of Subscription Services
Service Providers agree to pay the Site for Subscription Services.
Prices for Subscription Services may change at any time at DOGTHORITY.COM's sole and exclusive discretion.
Subscription Services do not provide price protection or refunds in the event of a price reduction or promotional offering.
Payment of “Pay Once” Subscription Services
PAY ONCE subscriptions are significantly reduced plans offered on a limited basis solely at the discretion of DOGTHORITY.COM.
Subscribers who PAY ONCE are subject to the same Terms and Conditions as all users and must abide by the policies of DOGTHORITY.COM, subject to the special provisions below:
- PAY ONCE Subscribers must use the Site in accordance with all policies for as long as the Site is operational and are subject to the same Terms and Conditions as all users of the Site.
- DOGTHORITY.COM makes no commitment or guarantee that the Site will remain operational for any particular period of time. DOGTHORITY.COM, in its sole discretion, may choose to no longer operate the website. In such an event, the PAY ONCE Subscriber forfeits all rights and entitlement associated with the subscription, and the subscription is considered terminated.
- PAY ONCE subscriptions do not offer refunds. Under no condition will a refund be provided to a PAY ONCE subscription holder.
Refund Policy
DOGTHORITY.COM stands behind its Subscription Services provided to Service Providers.
If you would like to request a refund, please contact DOGTHORITY.COM. Your request for a refund will be reviewed strictly under the following criteria:
- You are within the first 30 days of the purchase. Refund requests after the first 30 days of the original purchase will not be reviewed.
- Refunds are not provided on renewal payments.
- Under NO condition will a refund be provided for a PAY ONCE Subscription.
Termination & Cancellation
You may cancel your DOGTHORITY.COM Subscription Service at any time.
DOGTHORITY.COM may terminate or suspend any and all Services and/or your DOGTHORITY.COM account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including, without limitation, if you breach the Terms & Conditions.
Upon termination of your account, your right to use the Site will immediately cease.
If you wish to cancel your DOGTHORITY.COM registration or Subscription Service, you must contact DOGTHORITY.COM with your cancellation request.
All provisions of the Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

Interruption of Site Availability
Access to and use of the Site may be interrupted from time to time as a result of equipment malfunction, upgrade, maintenance, repair of the Site, or otherwise, within or outside the control of DOGTHORITY.COM.
DOGTHORITY.COM has the right to change, suspend, or discontinue the availability of the Site and/or Services to Consumers and Service Providers and/or remove any content at any time in its sole discretion without notice.
Changes
DOGTHORITY.COM reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, remove, replace, or add to these Terms at any time.
If alterations constitute a material change to the Terms, DOGTHORITY.COM will notify users by posting an announcement on the website. What constitutes a material change will be determined at DOGTHORITY.COM's sole discretion.
You are responsible for reviewing and becoming familiar with any such modifications. Using any service or viewing any content following notification of a material change constitutes acceptance of the Terms as modified.
Support Requests & Reasonable Use
Support must be requested through the proper channels to be received and responded to in a reasonable amount of time.
To request support, please use the available options in the footer of the Site.
DOGTHORITY.COM provides no guarantee, either express or implied, regarding the timeframe in which a support request can or will be resolved.
Requests are subject to approval by DOGTHORITY.COM management or its assigned agent. Additionally, DOGTHORITY.COM has no obligation to fix or remedy any issue directed to DOGTHORITY.COM for support.
Nature of Requests
If you are unsure whether a request meets these criteria, submit it through our support system, and DOGTHORITY.COM will either accept or deny the request based on managerial approval.
Examples of requests that may not meet DOGTHORITY.COM management approval for support include:
- Custom plugin development
- Theme development
- Back-end custom coding
- Any fix deemed by DOGTHORITY.COM management to exceed one hour of WordPress expert work unless approved as a project to be performed over several business days
Release & Indemnity
Users, Registered Users, Consumers, and Service Providers hereby expressly and irrevocably release and forever discharge DOGTHORITY.COM, its affiliated and associated companies, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, independent and dependent contractors, licensees, successors, and assigns from any and all actions, causes of action, suits, proceedings, liabilities, debts, judgments, claims, and demands whatsoever in law or equity that you ever had, now have, or hereafter can, shall, or may have by reason of, or arising directly or indirectly out of, your use of the Site and Services.
You hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless DOGTHORITY.COM, its affiliated and associated companies, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, independent and dependent contractors, licensees, successors, and assigns from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including but not limited to direct, incidental, consequential, punitive, exemplary, and indirect damages and reasonable attorneys' fees, relating to, resulting from, or arising out of, in whole or in part:
- Any breach of these Terms, whether deemed material or immaterial;
- The use of or reliance upon the Services by you or any person acting on your behalf or using your account or DOGTHORITY.COM username and password; or
- Any material or immaterial violation of any rights, title, or interests of any third party.
In no event shall DOGTHORITY.COM be liable to Users, Registered Users, Consumers, or Service Providers under any legal or equitable theory, including but not limited to contract, tort, strict liability, negligence, or common law, or with respect to the Site, Services, or any content, for any lost profits, loss of use, or actual, special, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind whatsoever.
You understand that your sole remedy for any damages you allege have been sustained as a result of the Services is to cancel your subscription.
DOGTHORITY.COM AND ITS LICENSEES, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, SHALL BE YOUR ABILITY TO TERMINATE THE SERVICE EFFECTIVE UPON RECEIPT BY DOGTHORITY.COM OF YOUR WRITTEN NOTICE OF TERMINATION, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
Listings
The Service includes a forum where users may post and browse listings for services (each a “Listing”).
Such Listings are provided by users and not by DOGTHORITY.COM.
WE DO NOT SELL, RENT, OR OTHERWISE MAKE AVAILABLE ANY PROVIDER SERVICES. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR SUCH LISTINGS OR TRANSACTIONS, AND SUCH LISTINGS DO NOT CONSTITUTE AN OFFER FROM DOGTHORITY.COM.
PLEASE USE CAUTION AND COMMON SENSE WHEN BUYING, SELLING, HIRING, OR OTHERWISE PARTICIPATING IN ANY TRANSACTION REGARDING A LISTING OR MAKING OR RECEIVING PAYMENT FOR ANY LISTING.
The availability or promotion of a Listing through the Service does not imply our endorsement of the Listing or the Service Provider.
We make no representations whatsoever about Listings or Users.
Information about and the availability of any Listing are subject to change at any time without notice.
You must ascertain and obey all applicable laws regarding the marketing, promotion, sale, purchase, delivery, receipt, possession, and use of the subject of any Listing.
We reserve the right to remove any Listing for any reason.
You represent and warrant that you have the necessary authority and permissions to post any Listing, enter into any transaction, or make any transfer relating to a Listing, including, if you are not of legal age to do so, by obtaining proper parental or guardian consent. The legal age is 18 in most states.
Intellectual Property
DOGTHORITY.COM graphics, logos, designs, page headers, button icons, scripts, service names, and any other intellectual property are the sole and exclusive intellectual property of DOGTHORITY.COM.
DOGTHORITY.COM's intellectual property may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of DOGTHORITY.COM.
Force Majeure
Events outside the control of DOGTHORITY.COM that are not reasonably foreseeable shall be considered force majeure, meaning that DOGTHORITY.COM is released from its obligations to fulfill contractual agreements.
Examples of such events include government action or omission, new or amended legislation, conflict, embargo, fire, flood, sabotage, accident, war, natural disasters, strikes, or lack of delivery from suppliers.
Force majeure also includes government decisions that negatively affect the market or products, including restrictions, warnings, bans, or similar actions.
Miscellaneous
No partnership, agency, joint venture, or employment is created as a result of these Terms, and you do not have authority of any kind to bind DOGTHORITY.COM in any respect whatsoever.
The failure of either party to exercise any right provided for herein shall not be deemed a waiver of any further rights.
DOGTHORITY.COM shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from any cause beyond DOGTHORITY.COM's reasonable control, including, without limitation, mechanical, electronic, or communications failure or degradation.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the Terms otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.
DOGTHORITY.COM may transfer, assign, or delegate these Terms and its rights and obligations without your consent.
The Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, as stated herein.
Both parties agree that these Terms constitute the complete and exclusive statement of the mutual understanding of the parties and supersede and cancel all previous written and oral agreements, communications, and other understandings relating to the subject matter of the Terms, except as otherwise expressly provided herein.
